Who We Are:
We are a Therapeutic Day Program serving adults with disabilities in Cartersville/Bartow County and surrounding areas of northwest Georgia.
Why Soaring Hearts was started:
Soaring Hearts Therapeutic Day Program was founded by Lisa McEntire-Chadd. Lisa is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a passion for serving those with disabilities. As a student in Occupational Therapy Assistant School, she completed two rotations through different day programs. She was astounded at the difference between the two and the happiness of the individuals they served. Her goal after completing school was to open her own nonprofit. She wanted a place where individuals would thrive and grow in their daily skills and abilities.
What we hope to achieve:
Our hope is to help all individuals with disabilities be more functionally independent in their daily lives, and to help them acquire the skills needed to do so. We want the individuals we serve to be happier in their lives and be challenged daily to achieve more than they thought possible of themselves! We want them to soar above the perceived limits of their disability!
